So I was made aware of this Project Unbreakable today. I have to say this is the picture that caught my eye. My stepfather always said this when I would make a fuss. After I told my mother and after she decided to tell me it was a thing he sometimes did in his sleep and it could’ve been anyone. After she said he wouldn’t do it ever again and after she asked about semen which I had no idea about in technical terms. After all of that he would still come into my room at night and say this if I woke up. I told my mother again one time and she said he was just checking on us also. She would later disown me and tell my family I was a liar. The sad part is she and my stepfather are/were police officers. He was a Sargeant too. All of this happened before I started working with children and repressed memories surfaced. I would build a very unstable relationship with my mother and half siblings later in life. Never discussing topics such as this. At one point my mother told me she was afraid to be close to me because I might hurt her. When my sister found out she was pregnant and I knew the baby would be around several pedophiles I snapped.I no longer have any relationship to my mother, her family, or their mindset that it’s terrible but it happens.
